Keep Austin Agile 2022 Health & Safety Information

 

We are excited to get together with old friends and colleagues, as well as meet new ones, at the 10th Annual Keep Austin Agile hybrid in-person and live online conference. 

 

The health and safety of everybody at Keep Austin Agile is important to us. In this age of uncertainty, if you cannot attend the 2022 Keep Austin Agile conference for any reason, you are welcome to transfer your paid in-person registration ticket to another in-person attendee for no additional fee. There will only be one ticket transfer available per person. There are no transfers or refunds for the virtual-only registration tickets.

 

If you need to cancel due to COVID-19 prior to the event, we will also be happy to convert your in-person registration ticket to virtual-only registration ticket and refund you the difference in cost. 

 

While we understand this pandemic continues to create last minute challenges, the deadline to make any ticket change request is Monday, November 7th, 2022 at 12:00 noon Central Time.  This is the last responsible moment we can process any changes and appreciate your understanding as there will be no same day changes.  All ticketed attendees will remain as-is regarding conference registration without refund or transfer after this date and time.

Additional Information 

 

Given how fluid the health situation is, we are constantly monitoring the guidelines from multiple sources, including the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), as well as the applicable federal, state, and local protocols for large gatherings.

 

As we continue to evaluate these health protocols, we reserve the right to make updates as qualified medical recommendations evolve. We’ll communicate both through this web page as well as via email to those who have already received confirmation of their conference registration.

 

We strongly urge each in-person attendee to be tested for COVID-19 prior to traveling and/or attending this event. Those who test positive should cancel their in-person event registration and stay home.

Attendees who purchase an in-person attendance ticket acknowledge that there is an inherent risk of exposure to the disease COVID-19 (as defined by the WHO and any strains, variants, or mutations thereof) and SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that can cause COVID-19) (collectively, "COVID-19"), and any other communicable or infectious disease, exists in any public place where people are present. Attendees agree to voluntarily assume any and all risks in any way related to exposure to COVID-19 and any other communicable or infectious disease.

Keep Austin Agile and Agile Austin cannot be held liable for COVID-19 cases and other communicable or infectious diseases that have been declared as a public health emergency contracted as a result of the in-person event attendance, including travel to and from Austin, TX.

 

2022 Keep Austin Agile reserves the right to cancel the in-person portion of the event or substitute speakers if the original speakers are unable to attend. In the unlikely event that the in-person portion of the conference should be canceled, all attendee tickets will be converted to virtual-only tickets and refunded the difference.
