Agile Austin Book Club – The 5th Discipline by Peter Senge

Based on the feedback from previous book clubs we are going to try some different things.
- After the first meeting the group will decided the pace that we read the book and when we meet to discuss.
- Agile Austin will pay for your book if you participate! Show up to 75% of the meetings, save your recipt, and Agile Austin will reimburse the cost of your book!
The first meeting will be on Wednesday, March 28th at Planview from 6pm to 8pm. Please be ready to discuss chapters 1 throu 5 at the first meeting.

Informal Directions and Parking Info
Planview is on the west side of MoPac just north of Steck Ave.
- Coming down 183 from the north, exit the 360/Capital of Texas Highway. Stay on the access road and head south on MoPac’s access road. Planview will be on your right before Steck Ave.
- Coming down MoPac from the north, exit Steck Ave/Anderson Ln/Spicewood Springs Rd. Stay on the access road and Planview will be on your right before Steck Ave.
- Coming up MoPac from the south, exit Steck Ave and turn left onto Steck Ave. Go across MoPac and turn right onto Greenslope Dr. Take the 2nd right onto Cima Serena Dr. Turn right onto MoPac. Stay on the access road and Planview will be on your right before Steck Ave.
You can park in the open lots or any of the garages that aren’t indicated as reserved. Plainview is in Suite 300.

Facilitator:Jay Paulson is a Software Developer at IBM Initiate. Jay holds a Masters Degree in Computer Information Systems from St. Edwards University, a BS in Computer Science, and a BA in Studio Art from Millsaps College. With ten years of experience as a software developer in the Austin market, Jay has spent the last four years focused on practicing, learning, and teaching Agile development. He has a passion to improve the agile process and eliminate waste throughout the software development life cycle.
