Remember the Zune? Functionally, it was pretty good and I know, because I use to own one. Thing was, I was the only one who did, everyone else had an iPod. Ultimately, Zune went away and I switched over to an iPod. The iPod didn’t win because it had the best functionality, it won because it was designed to connect with the human experience. Like music players, software development has functionally advanced itself with methodologies such as Agile, but where does design fit in? How do we account for the human experience? Why is design important to Product Management? What happens if I don’t integrate Agile and design well and how do I avoid that situation? In this session, we will explore questions such as these and more.
