Cloud technology continues to grow and spread. As is the case any time we see new technology or a shift in paradigms, confusion may arise about how our traditional processes fit. We are often left with having to create new solutions and sometimes create even more technology to help address new found challenges just to do the cool, new thing.

As far as the cloud goes, here are a few questions you might ponder before we meet and discuss this in person:

How do we test in the cloud? This is a loaded question…perhaps some of the following would be better to answer first
How do we test scalability in the cloud?
Can you robustly test a cloud offering with manual tests in your test suite?
Do we need to test the cloud infrastructure, or is application functional testing enough?
How do you control costs when testing a cloud offering?
Whoa….Can we put a copy of our pre-release application on the public cloud?
How do I test multi-tenancy?
How does QA test autoscaling?
Does QA care about autoscaling?
Repeat questions 8 & 9 for: disaster recovery, deployment, reliability, and security.
How much automation do I need to QA my cloud?
How does QA factor into DevOps?

Come join us for a great conversation about QA and the cloud. We look forward to seeing you there.
