The Agile Austin U Foundations Course is an 8 week night course that is free to our community. The intent is to introduce the core concepts of agile, Scrum, Lean Software and Kanban. There will be two volunteer instructors for each class and dinner will be provided. Proof of Attendance will be provided for those interested in claiming PDU’s. The full schedule can be found at http://www.agileaustin.org/training/.

The first step towards becoming a successful agile practitioner is to learn how to be an effective advocate of agile’s value proposition. Our 8-week journey through the fundamentals of agile will begin with an exploration of the Agile Manifesto and the 12 Agile Principles. With a combination of brief lectures and extended in-class collaboration exercises, you will learn to identify where agile might help bring clarity and understanding to your work environment, and how to begin engaging your co workers and stakeholders in a more thoughtful, agile, way.
