We have them. We all have them. Whether you’re an architect who has had to deal with legacy decisions made by your predecessor…or yourself just months earlier; or a developer who can’t believe that you have to modify 12 source files just to change a message displayed to a user; or an executive who can’t understand why the new feature you want will take 3 months longer than the last feature you requested, we all have our war stories of bad architectures that we share around the campfire with our brethren-in-arms.

Please come share your stories with the group. If this was a previous war story from which you emerged victorious, please brag and share your success. If it’s something that you’re currently dealing with, please come share and solicit suggestions.

The Architecture SIG knows that architecture can affect everyone in an organization. So, this isn’t just limited to tales told by an architect. We want to hear from anyone in an organization affected by these stories. This promises to be a very fun discussion. Good times and many tears for all.
