Many agile practitioners keep trying to get others to change but find the progress is agonizingly slow. Does this ever effect you? You can recite all the popular expert advice on change, but it’s dang difficult to get a handle on applying any of it. Why?

Did you ever think maybe that popular expert advice no longer fits into today’s environment? Why not? Because all that change advice comes from an era of relative stability and we’re in an era of crazy and increasing complexity. So you might want to re-examine that advice. Yuck, no fun.

But don’t worry. In this lively session we’ll explore why popular large scale change models are broken (i.e., what is no longer relevant and what is) and what to do about it, starting with you, starting with today. We’ll examine the most practical applied definitions available for words like leadership, responsibility, agility, and change, then we’ll link them in a practical way you can take away and apply for huge leverage in your life, relationship, and work today and for the rest of your life.

Take aways include:

– You’ll know how responsible change works, where it starts, and how it proceeds

– You’ll also understand how personal responsibility works in the mind and that it’s not the same as job accountability, and why that’s all so darn confusing (at work and elsewhere)

– You may even be a bit inspired to take this information and try it on for yourself
